Beatles Tribute Band American English performing in Hammond Indiana
The year 2014 is the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ first arrival in United States, and on Sunday, August 10 at 7 p.m., American English will transport the audience at the Pavilion at Wolf Lake in Hammond, Ind. back in time.
Attendees will experience some of the excitement of the early 1960s and the Beatles’ legendary appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show, when American English as the Fab Four performs "She Loves You," "All My Loving"and more. After a brief intermission, the band will return for a trip to the psychedelic era of Magical Mystery Tour Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band before capping the show with songs from The White Album including "Hey Jude," "Something" and "Let It Be."
In the end, you'll be transformed to a spectacular musical excursion of the final years of The Beatles partnership.
Relive the years of The White Album, Let It Be and Abbey Road. Moving renditions of songs such as Hey Jude,
Something
and Let It Be are sure to complete the tribute to The Beatles.
American English has been voted the "Best Tribute Band" by Nitelife.org and was hailed in Newsweek's special 2012 commemorative issue, "The Beatles!" as one of the best Beatles tribute bands in the world today. The band was voted No. 1 in sound-alike contests at Beatlefest® for three consecutive years and has headlined International Beatle Week in Liverpool, England.
Tickets to the concert are available for $22 and can be purchased online. Parking is free and concessions will be available to purchase on site including pizza from Beggars Pizza and beer from the Bulldog Brewing Company. The concert will take place rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own chair and  blanket to picnic and enjoy the concert. No outside food or alcohol will be permitted onto the property.
